MatiQ Books Plus is a remote bookkeeping practice based in North Idaho. We help small business owners across the country keep clear, organized books and find more balance in their week.
Why MatiQ Books Plus
exists.
I know how overwhelming it is to balance a family and a business at the same time. The books are often the first thing to slip.
I started MatiQ Books Plus to take that off people’s plates. My goal is simple: keep your records clear and organized, explain them so they make sense, and give you back time for the rest of your life.
I also want every client to know they are valued. This is a relationship, not a transaction, and I get to know the people I work with.

Founder, MatiQ Books Plus
I’m Danielle Davis-Sandler, founder of MatiQ Books Plus. I have been an educator for most of my working life, and teaching still shapes how I work with every client.
I taught preschool for more than seven years, substitute taught across every grade, and have tutored children and adult English-language learners online since 2021. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s in science education.
I also worked as a hospital reimbursement and coding specialist, where I learned how much an accurate record matters, and as an administrator at MatiQ Inc before opening MatiQ Books Plus.

Equity, access
and awareness.
Accommodations and awareness are part of how we work, not an extra.
Educating people about neurodivergence and creating a safe space for it matters deeply to me, as does supporting owners who live with mental illness or disability. Opportunity should not depend on where you start. In the future, I plan to offer classes for high school students and internships for people who have not had that door opened yet.
Outside the books, you will find me in the garden, watching the birds and squirrels, or spending time with my animals.
